Like the rest of the switched-on population, we're going green. After several years of researching data, crunching numbers and living a vegan life, it made sense for us to go green in business too.
The reasons to go green in our personal and business lives made complete sense to us. There came the point in our business journey when we said, "we're going green", to set an example and show others how easy it can be to do the same.
We know that going green is a personal choice, and individuals embrace going green for different reasons. We're going green to contribute towards the betterment of this planet.
TopEco Green comprises a few select people, some related, some not, but all of the same mind, with the same views on sustainability and the same goal of helping individuals, families, and communities transition to a greener way of life.
TopEco Green was brought together by Kerry Greener and Bridie Chandegra. We started our 'green' journey with Easy Vegan Limited, a company dedicated to helping those who wanted to eat less meat and dairy and enjoy a vegan way of life.
The vegan diet is widely regarded as better for the planet than one involving animal products. Still, not all plant-based foodstuffs have a small environmental footprint. Kerry and Bridie noticed that food packaging, production processes, and supply chain steps were all far from 'green'.
From their day-to-day research and development of Easy Vegan in 2019, the founders realised that people didn't just want vegan food, consumers wanted vegan products for everyday living too.
Green, environmentally-friendly furniture, decor and outdoor items that met the vegan ethos were requested. So, Kerry and Bridie wondered if they could make vegan living a more complete option.
After much digging and lots of negotiation later, the two founding ladies secured supplier relationships with some of the top sustainable, eco-friendly manufacturing companies in the UK and Europe.
TopEco Home online store now offers beautiful eco-friendly products to anyone wishing to transition to a greener way of life.
By providing sustainable furniture and home decor that doesn't harm animals or the environment in the manufacturing process, the goal of a greener way of living for many became a reality.
TopEco Green is a supporting community website for Easy Vegan and TopEco Home Limited. The TopEco team implements environmentally friendly practices to meet the needs of its members. This is vital for the general health of the population and planet, and other green communities.
The pages on this website and other programs, resources, and information help improve environmental quality, address climate change, and reduce developmental impacts on natural resources.
Everyone at TopEco Green places emphasis on critical factors such as:
TopEco Green understands that to say "we're going green" doesn't suggest an oversimplified 'environmentalist' message.
People are made to believe that one voice will not be heard. TopEco Green is here to make sure we are listened to collectively and that the pushback has a loud voice.
One easy thing we can all do is watch where we put our money.
Each purchase we make is a vote for the environment's well-being or demise.
Did you know that nearly 30 billion plastic water bottles are sold annually in the U.S. and 7.7 billion in the U.K.? Staggeringly, less than 20% of these bottles are recycled.
Did you also know that many bottled water companies use municipal water sources!
Yep - that's right, tap water!
This means even if you want to start slowly, changing the way you drink water is a great place to start and can make an incredible difference.
To a certain extent, we can all make better choices regarding our buying selections. But TopEco Green realised that we cannot 'buy' our way to sustainability. We also knew that justice for poorly paid workers needed to become mainstream.
TopEco Green discovered that the most significant influence you can have on others is your own actions and attitude. One recommendation is to be open and honest about your choices and:
TopEco Green understands that authentic green-living touches every aspect of life. There is so much to consider when managing the loss of biocultural diversity. We all have to work together to enhance the spiritual growth within our own communities.
We are not on our own here.
Many of us know that the dawn of a new awakening is here, and culture, thinking, and lifestyles are changing for the better.
You have to be willing to get a little worse before you get massively better when you hit a plateau. - Tony Robbins
Here, we get to talk, chat and debate about green environmental issues, troubles and concerns. We get to question everything and develop our own narratives and solutions. We get to plan our own future and seek our unique possibilities of success, progress and abundance.
